2) Look at Question 3 in the assessment - the media analysis of the Under Armour advert.

Use CLAMPS to revise mise-en-scene and write about each element of CLAMPS for the Under Armour advert.

C - Costume: The player is wearing red and black rugby kit which has connotations of anger and the red top links to the under armour logo

L - Lighting: The stadium floodlights have connotations of glamour and spotlights glamourize the action taking place in this case , the actor pushing the tyre whilst wearing under armour costume. the lights make what hes doing seem desirable which was make consumers want to purchase the product.

A - Actor placement and movement: The rugby player is an actor. his face portrays determination, strength and motivation.

M - Make up: The player's face is shining under the lights which makes it look like he is in the spot light and the focus of the advert.

P - Props: The tyre is significant because it is a symbol of strength, for a man to be able to push a tyre of that size and weight requires a lot of strength provided by the actor wearing under armour.

S - Setting: the stadium setting suggests to the audience that the action of the actor pushing a tyre whilst wearing under armour is something that everyone needs to and can see. it is something to show off and receive praise and attention for. when the audience sees this they will be intrigued and motivated to purchase under armour as it will give them the same strength the actor possesses.

3) Look at Question 4. What is Todorov's theory of equilibrium? How does it link to the Audrey Hepburn Galaxy advert?

Todorov's theory of equilibrium states that all movies/tv shows follow a pattern as it goes; 'Equilibrium> Disequilibrium> New Equilibrium'.  In this context, 'Audrey in the bus> Fruit owner preventing the bus to continue the journey> The car driver who offers to take Audrey'

4) What social class is Reveal aimed at? (Extension - what do the cover lines on Reveal suggest about what working class people are interested in?)

the target audience is a working-lower class and they are represented in somewhat a negative light because it connotes that the working class are interested with gossip and as the writers use more "accessible" and "understandable" vocabulary it implies that the lower-working classes are not well-educated.

5) Pick three cover lines from Tatler that reflect upper class British culture and society. Explain what they suggest about the lifestyle and beliefs of upper class British people.

the cover lines 'james corden's la life-with his aristo buddies' 'oops all my clothes fell off- which is fine because all you need are the new accessories' and 'meet georgina bevan-she looks good in pearls' suggest the middle/higher classes are interested in things like jewellery, fashion and aristocracy.
