What key conventions of an advert can you find and what are the connotations of each one?
For each convention, write about how this appeals to a target audience.
What is the USP (unique selling point) of the product and how do you know?

Conventions:

Picture of the product is shown in order to allow the consumers to easily spot what product they are looking for when buying.

The Slogan at the bottom is clearly visible, the word 'happiness' reinforces the USP which is by buying the drink you will definitely feel joy and contentment and despite the unhealthy factors of the product, there is no harm in having it as it's just too good. This reinforces the USP as it tricks the consumers into wanting to buy the product.

The logo is quite legible and stands out as the producers have used their logo on the actual product. Advantages of this are that buyers can easily identify the brand.

The setting of the product is outside in a field, which links to summer overall prompting the audience to buy the product when its hot as it is refreshing. Also we cant visibly see the sun shining behind and onto the bottle, giving it some sort of magical feeling to it. Possibly suggesting it brings light to someones life.

The Colour Scheme is red and white, making it easy to identify the brand, and also green and a bit of blue in the sky which links to summer and hot times of the year, when usually peoples mood are happier and this can suggest that the coke makes people happy in the hotter seasons.
